The Development

Located in Manchester City Centre Alto is a high-end prestigious new-build development. Consisting of four separate buildings, it contains a mix of 327 apartments and commercial units complete with extensive grounds for the benefit of Residents. The development was to be constructed over 3 phases.

The OPPORTUNITY

Zenith were engaged by the Developer during the concept phase of the development to assist the project team from the initial design stage right through to delivery and then management.

By being involved from an early stage of the development’s design we would be able to provide advice and guidance to the project team and help avoid mistakes that can all too often hinder the effective management of a development going forward. Our expertise would be used to develop a management strategy that benefited Residents whilst protecting the reputation of the Developer.

The Approach

As the development was to be completed in phases over 2 years it was crucial that a robust and coherent approach was taken to the management during this period.

Zenith Management allocated a dedicated Property Manager to liaise with the Developer and construction team for the entire duration of the project leading up to completion of each phase and beyond.

Working with the developer we agreed a timetable to ensure all necessary decisions were made early in the project. Drawings, plans and specifications were all reviewed by Zenith, as part of the design team, ensuring that management matters were considered at every stage of the project.
